Guidelines for Poster/Demo Sessions
This year’s poser/demo sessions will be virtual and have a unique format. The poster sessions will be shared for both the Beijing event and the virtual event. Please follow the following guidelines for attending the poster/demo sessions.
- Due to the virtual nature, we will not have the traditional poster/demo exhibition as before. Authors are required to upload a presentation video, with a length of 4 minutes for a poster presentation, and 6 minutes for a demo presentation. Videos for demo papers should include system demonstrations under use case examples.
- There will be four poster/demo presentation sessions, with two sessions running in parallel on both Wednesday and Thursday. During each session, the recorded videos will be played following the order published on the program page. Every 4-5 presentations will share a live Q&A break. Authors are required to join the poster/demo sessions for live interactions with the audience.
- Following our traditions, SIGSPATIAL 2021 will provide a Best Poster Paper Award and a Best Demo Paper Award, with a winner and a runner-up in each category. The awards will be evaluated mainly based on the quality of the paper and the presentation. Live Q&A will be considered as an additional reference when needed (e.g., when there is a tie).
